Welcome to Happy Little Hooves Farm LLC, where compassion, rare breeds, and unforgettable experiences come together! Nestled on three acres, our farm is a sanctuary for special-needs goats, rare breeds, and anyone looking for a little extra joy in their day.

Our journey began in 2018, when we purchased our new farm with a dream of creating a space where animals and people could thrive together. What started with just one calf and two pygmy goats has blossomed into a thriving farm with over 50 goats, sheep, and a few friendly chickens. Each animal on our farm has a story, and we are honored to provide them with the care and love they deserve.

We’re especially passionate about our special-needs goats, who hold a special place in our hearts. From bottle babies with neurological issues to goats with unique medical needs, we’ve created a safe and nurturing environment where these resilient animals can live happy, fulfilling lives. Each special-needs goat teaches us about strength, perseverance, and the incredible bond between humans and animals.

We’re also proud to be home to the critically endangered Arapawa goats – a rare and fascinating breed with only around 600 left worldwide. As the only breeder of Arapawa goats in Illinois, we are dedicated to preserving these gentle creatures and sharing their story with others to raise awareness and inspire conservation.

Our mission goes beyond goat care:

• Foster connections between people and animals through educational and interactive experiences.
• Spread joy with our goats, bringing smiles to faces of all ages through services like Goat-A-Grams, farm visits, and unique events.
